The Ubuntu Research Exchange: Learn, Lead, and Transform Togethe

Hosted by the Delmore “Buddy” Daye Learning Institute (DBDLI) in collaboration with the University of Venda and the University of Pretoria (South Africa), the 2026 Africentric Education Conference invites scholars, researchers, policy makers, educators, and community leaders to engage in transformative dialogue and knowledge exchange grounded in Ubuntu and Africentric philosophies. 

This interdisciplinary gathering embraces Africentric perspectives across education, health and wellness (physical, emotional, and mental), the human and social sciences, community development, and lifelong learning—reflecting the holistic nature of education and community wellbeing within Africentric thought
